- Bulging/herniated Disc
- Lumbar Procedure
Very severe pain in left buttock. Left leg and foot numb. Painful to walk, stand, or sit upright. Had to take care of ranch duties, but forced myself to do them. I had several sessions of the decompression table that did not help at all. Also tried cortisone shots in the spine- those did nothing. 1 month after my surgery I was harvesting wheat. Almost one year later over.
Within 1 hour of surgery I could walk normally and pain went away. I can do normal ranch duties except lifting. I continue to operate my ranch. I have no pain unless I do something too strenuous – then it’s no more than an ache which goes away about 2 days later. I have learned what I can and cannot accomplish but I still get my work done. I would definitely encourage anyone with herniated discs to have this surgery done.
