Life Before Surgery with NAS

After my accident, things just kept getting worse and worse. I started losing control of my bladder, I would lose feeling in my legs from time to time so I had to quit driving and was unable to walk. Everything I was used to doing, I no longer could do. I am also a mother of a child with disabilities and I needed to be there to take care of her and I couldn’t. This was life altering for me.

Life After Surgery with NAS

Oh my goodness my life has gone back to the way it was before my accident.  I can be mom again to my daughter.  I can drive, walk, run, hike, swim, dance, and most of all laugh and love life again.

Experience with the NAS Team

My patient care manager, Brittany, was amazing!!!  She took care of everything for me from the very start.  Once I had my appointment for surgery scheduled I started getting extremely nervous and had so many questions.  Brittany never even skipped a beat.  She made sure every question I had was thoroughly answered and asked me if I was alright with what information I found out.  After my procedure she checked up on me continuously and helped me with all of the financial side as well.  She was such a pleasure and delight to work with and I could never have asked for anyone better than her.  She made this entire experience so stress free!!!

If it wasn’t for North American Spine I fear that I would be completely immobile at this point.  They saved my life!  They were the only ones who took the time to listen to me and to do a thorough exam of my MRIs and explain to me in detail what they could do to help me and what the rate of success might be.  No other doctor had done that.  Every other healthcare provider just kept telling me it wasn’t bad enough to do anything.  None would even take the time to go over my MRIs with me.

I know that doing something out of your normal is scary and intimidating, but trust me it is so worth the risk.  Do some research.  We are so lucky to live in a world of technology and have information at the tip of our fingers.  Call them and at least let them look at your records and see what they have to say.  You have absolutely nothing to lose.  Take that leap of faith and jump… won’t be disappointed.  That one phone call gave me my life back!!!

Experience with NAS Surgeon

100% Awesomeness from the people at the front desk to the doctor, nurses, anesthesiologist, surgery room folks.  If I could have every medical issue dealt with by these people my life would be amazing!!!  They were so kind and caring.  Each one smiled and helped walk me through one of my most difficult times in life.  I can’t say enough about each and every person who helped me.
