A highly skilled orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Vuhdi Slabisak completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas San Antonio in 1994. It was there, too, that he earned his medical doctorate in 1998. He stayed on at UT Science Center to finish a residency in Orthopedic Surgery in 2002, before moving on to a Spine Surgery fellowship at South Texas Spinal Clinic, also in San Antonio.

Following his residency at the University of Texas San Antonio from 1998 to 2003, Dr. Slabisak was appointed to a fellowship position in San Antonio for one year. Following that, he decided to move onto the Dallas area, where he currently practices. Over his nearly twenty years as an orthopedic surgeon, he has practiced and held positions at a number of the area’s top hospitals and clinics, and founded a dedicated outpatient clinic.

Dr. Slabisak, originally of Chonburi, Thailand, has proudly called Texas his home for decades. The father of two daughters lives in the Dallas area and is an avid sailor. In fact, his dream is to one day guide a boat around the world.

“What I need to do as a physician is to make a connection with the patient, so that they are a part of the process.” – Dr. Slabisak
