Dr. Baig is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopaedic spine surgeon. After graduating with a B.S. in Biology from Loyola University in 1998, he went to Southern Illinois for his medical doctorate. He was an Orthopaedic Surgery resident at the Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY from 2006 to 2010, before becoming a fellow at the Sonoran Spine Center in Pheonix, AZ.

Since 2011, when he completed an Adult and Pediatric Spine fellowship at the Sonoran Spine Center, Dr. Baig has been in private practice. Prior to his Orthopedic Surgery residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, he worked at the Dorn VA Medical Center in Orthopaedic research. In 2013, he was appointed clinical instructor at Midwestern Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he still teaches.

Dr. Baig calls Chicago, IL his hometown. In addition to delivering care and conducting research, Dr. Baig is a father who enjoys watching football and exploring new restaurants.
