In 1981, Dr. McKee earned a B.S. from the University of Guanajuato in Mexico, and stayed in the country to receive his medical training at the University of San Luis Potosí. After that, he returned to the United States to complete a surgical internship at the Nassau Medical Center in Long Island, NY, and moved on to do a surgical residency at New York City’s Beth Israel Medical Center.

Working in private practice since 2004, Dr. McKee has over 25 years of experience as an anesthesiologist and pain management specialist. He has also has done several notable stints at San Antonio, TX’s Orthopedic and Spine Institute (2005 to 2012 and 2015 to 2017), where he focused on interventional pain management. From 2001 to 2004, Dr. McKee worked in interventional management as part of a practice based in Southampton Hospital in Southampton, NY.

Having spent considerable amount of time overseas, Dr. McKee is fluent in Spanish. He is an avid traveler, and loves hiking, camping, and boating with his family.
