Certified by the American Academy of Pain Medicine, Dr. Aló specializes in helping find innovative ways to manage spine pain. Prior to medical school at Texas A&M Health Science Center and Medical College, Dr. Aló received a Bachelor’s of Science in Basic Medical Science in 1985. He completed his internship in General Surgery, Anesthesiology residency and Pain Management fellowship at Methodist General Hospital, in Houston, TX.

Dr. Aló has been in private practice since 1994; however, he has also played crucial roles in numerous hospitals and research institutes. In over 27 years as a practicing pain management specialist and anesthesiologist, he has been a valuable member of the staff at Baylor College of Medicine, where he served as chief anesthesiologist, and the Texas Medical Center. Dr. Aló is also an Assistant Clinical Member at the Houston Methodist Hospital Research Institute.
