Dr. De Andres graduated from the School of Medicine of the Valencia University in Spain and completed his Fellow in Interventional Pain Practice at the World Institute of Pain. He received his Ph.D in 1990 with his discourse on “Neurostimulation as optimization method in regional nerve block.”
Currently he is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at the Valencia University of Medicine and Chairman of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and the Multidisciplinary Pain Management Departments at the Valencia General Hospital.
Dr. De Andres is an active lecturer on Interventional Pain Management & a member of numerous international societies including the European Society of Regional Anesthesia, the International Association for the Study of Pain & the International Neuromodulation Society. He is widely published both in in Spain and in International publications and serves on several editorial boards of national and international journals in the field of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management.
