Dr. Rosener was the Nebraska High School long jump champion, All-State Quarterback, and Valedictorian. After high school, he was member of the University of Nebraska football team and attended the University of Nebraska on a Regents Scholarship. After graduating with Phi Beta Kappa honors, he attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Dr. Rosener's internship was at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.
Dr. Rosener was appointed Chief Resident of the Department of Anesthesia at Parkland Hospital, and conducted six months of research for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Scottish Rite Hospital. In 1985, Dr. Rosener started private practice at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and was a member of Dallas Anesthesia Associates. He was later affiliated with D.F.W. Anesthesia Associates, and Pinnacle Anesthesia Associates. Dr. Rosener received his certification to the American Board of Anesthesiology in 1988.
