North American Spine’s partner surgical facility, Hackensack Surgery Center, is conveniently located at the intersection of route 95 and route 80, less than 30 minutes from Newark and within 2 hours of Philadelphia and New Haven. For those living in New York City without an automobile, the Hackensack Surgical Center is a short 30-minute bus ride from Port Authority. The center is a leader in same-day minimally-invasive surgery.

If you have chronic back pain and are looking for a convenient solution in the New York City metro area, North American Spine may be an ideal destination. Contact us today for:

  • A free medical review of your MRI or CT scan
  • Alerts of upcoming educational back pain seminars in your city
  • An assigned patient coordinator and insurance coordinator to walk you through every step of the way

Free MRI or CT scan evaluation. If you have chronic spine pain, and conservative treatments such as physical therapy have not provided relief, then send your MRI or CT scan report to us for review. We will pay the postage fee and provide quick feedback.   After you submit your MRI or CT scan for review and answer questions about your medical history, one of our physicians will provide a recommendation for treatment for your unique situation. Our physicians are leaders in interventional pain management and believe strongly in recommending the most conservative, appropriate treatment – ranging from stretches and lifestyle modification to spinal fusion surgery, based on the Continuum of Care standard.

Free back pain seminars. North American Spine’s New York office will provide regular educational seminars so chronic pain sufferers can learn about the range of treatment options available and talk directly to someone who can answer their questions. Selected seminars will be dedicated to the AccuraScope procedure: a new approach to minimally invasive spine surgery, offered by North American Spine.

Free navigation and coordination services. If you choose, your assigned patient coordinator will handle the logistics for any medical procedure recommended by one of our physicians.

North American Spine is designed to create patient advocacy for spine pain sufferers.   Numerous studies have shown that people who are in chronic pain often do not have the resources they need to heal – whether that includes emotional support, a trustworthy resource to explain pain treatment options, and the ability to coordinate the care they need.  North American Spine fills that need, by giving patients the information and navigation support they are looking for.

Patient care may be described as a table with patients on one side looking for a solution, and physicians on the other side providing a service; since North American Spine does not practice medicine, it is uniquely positioned on the patient’s side of the table, providing a compass to navigate the often confusing world of spine surgery and interventional pain management.
